This, I would buy. 2 years ago I was going to try converting my old Yamaha to electric with some car batteries and a fork lift motor, but then somebody offered my $500 for it (way more than it was worth) and I caved.
A new electric bike from the factory, with real engineering and a warranty? And it's from the world's #1 bike maker?

I have an old Honda Cub and an my dad has an early Yamaha from about the same period; can't remember what the model name was, though.
Neither of us will ever sell them.
