There are other things in the photos too.. in behind the challenger, there looks to be a mockup in 1:1 of a hatchback.

not this photo of course, there are more photos in this series.

wouldn't be the first time chrysler has put photos out with upcoming stuff in full view.

One time at the chrysler museum there was a preproduction sketch of a small car (believe it was the demon).. one of the engineers questioned the staff as to why this unreleased drawing was on the floor.. needless to say it quickly disappeared.

The Charger is the only good looking car Chrysler currently produces, I don't think making it look more like a '98 Grand Am is going to help its sales.

I just marvel at the hideousness of the Chrysler designs.

Who in their right mind would buy such a thing?

It's as if poor vision is a prerequisite for purchasing one of their cars.

They did make a Charger coupe. It's called the Challenger, and it's on sale now. Two less doors, $5-10k slapped on the sticker, and better looks, but same basic car on the same platform.

Go pull up a side profile of a 68, 69, or 70 Charger! This 2010 Charger is much more in line with what the 68-70 charger lines were. The 68-70 DID NOT have that rear kick up! It was a gradual raising line that start from the MIDDLE OF THE FRONT DOOR!! LIKE THE 2010!! Also you have the sweeping line from the hood to the middle of the front door like the 68-70 charger. This also continued in some form in the 71-74 chargers. KNOW YOUR HIISTORY AND YOUR CARS BEFORE YOU KNOCK THIS DESIGN.

When I saw the small, blurry "redesigned" images, the first thought that came to mind was that these were Chinese-made "Matchbox" cars of the current versions.
