We were more excited about the VW Scirocco coming back when we saw it in concept form as the "
IROC" back at the
Paris Motor Show two years ago. To be fair, that's really just because the prospect of a new car being called the "IROC" made us happy in so many way. Most of those ways involve sadism in some way, but happy nonetheless. Still, it's gone from concept to reality with so much changes, the only similarity between the concept and the production version are that the shape looks vaguely concordant. Also, Scirocco has "iroc" in it. Otherwise this coupe's supposed to hit the Euro market later this year at a cost of almost 22,000 multi-colored Euros. Full press release after the jump.
