    Am I the only one that likes the Mustang GT just as it comes from the factory?

    A new intake, a new exhaust, and new wheels if you must.

    But really, why mess with a good thing? It may not be as fast as other cars, it might have a slight handling deficiency compared to other cars, and the numbers might not be as impressive as these Saleen monstrosities, but it's just not always about the numbers.

    Sometimes, it's just about reliable, balanced performance, just like what comes from the factory in the case of the Mustang GT.

    I am shocked, shocked I tell you, that there does not yet exist an aftermarket IRS set up for the current Stang. If there does, please alert Google, because I was unable to find one.

    BTW: Do the SMS cars have as many SMS logos on them as the Saleen cars had Saleen logos? It was seriously a lot of logos.

    @Graverobber:

    The SN95 had kits developed for it because Ford did most of the legwork when developing an IRS for the Cobra. Since Ford decided to abandon the IRS setup from 2005 onwards, there has been no start for aftermarket companies to work with, and it may not have had enough perceived profit potential to develop a kit from scratch.

    @Graverobber: I thought Roush put one in? At least, Top Gear had me thinking that a couple years ago?

    So, Ford works to make the Mustang less cheap and plasticy, and Saleen just turns around and undoes everything?

    Is he gonna mess up the taillights on this one, too? 'Cause, uh, I'd totally still care with 655 horsepower.

    6-speed SMST manual on the top of the line 460X. In addition to engine output, handling, roadholding and braking play an equally important role.

    Well, this actually doesn't sound that bad. I'm actually looking forward to it.

    Ford Motor Pimps

    Despite them being pimps, that is some attractive product.

    How much 'product' fits in the trunk?
