Official Accessories For New Camaro To Include Big Wing, Ground Effects
The 2010 Chevy Camaro fans over at Camaro5 have snapped some shots of the factory accessories from the unveil of the 2010 Chevy Camaro SS this weekend that’ll be available for the new muscle car from the American Revolution. In addition to the usual chrome wheels and cold air intakes, there will be a range of — how should we say this? — less tasteful bolt-ons including a high wing, colored engine parts, ground effect bodykits and color-matched lighted interior trim pieces. New Chevy Camaro SS Revealed, Officially And Underwhelmingly, At 2008 IndyBash
While we're excited for the 2010 Chevy Camaro SS, the reveal yesterday was rather undramatic, taking place at an event held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway called the 2008 IndyBash. Yeah, and as expected, it was filled with all sorts of surprises — like — um, OK, so there weren't any surprises. What should we expect from the reveal of the "SS" version of what may quite possibly be the most over-exposed and vehicle in the history of the automobile? Not much, wethinks. 2010 Camaro SS Pics Officially Released, Act Surprised
Sure, you've seen the Camaro SS in unofficial photos in front of a real background, but we bet you haven't seen official photos of a 2010 Camaro SS in front of a dark background. Or maybe you have. Either way, GM has officially posted another set of photos of the Camaro SS, which looks remarkably like the other 2010 Camaros we've seen. The Camaro SS will be getting the LS3 6.2-liter V8, along with the 422 horsepower and 408 lb-ft of torque that comes with it.

2010 Chevy Camaro SS, Officially Unveiled...Sort Of
That's right folks —never mind the ad supplement, or the leaked pictures — now the first official press photo — or press rendering, we guess — of the new Chevrolet Camaro SS was just revealed on GM's Media site. We can't seem to find any other press release or official documentation accompanying it. But whatevs, we're just pleased as punch Chevy finally showed us what the new up-powered Camaro with the 6.2-liter V8 engine. We're expecting official images of the ever-pending 2010 Chevy Camaro SS any day now, but the various photo shoots ahead of that day have yielded at least one gallery of good ones. An AutoInsane reader managed to get into a shoot and take some really great photos of the latest Chevy super sport. As we saw when Fergie showed off the Camaro SS, it looks a lot like the concept but with some real rearview mirrors and actual badging.

Here we are, months and months away from the sales-floor launch of the 2010 Chevy Camaro, and already those persuasive salesfolks are prepping, poring over this conveniently leaked sales guide, readying their pitch to get you into GM's new hotness. We took a look at the nine-page talking points memo and found it unsurprisingly chock full of marketing-speak. Things like "world-class cupholders" and a "Reverse mohawk roof" prove to us that GM really put a lot of effort into the sales strategy here — just look how hard they're trying.
