Would it be cooler if the curves had them heading right for each other? The angles are unfortunately reminiscent of the ubiquitous "memorial ribbon" magnets--seriously, turn this upside down and that's pretty much what you have.

@Syrax: The whole car's aesthetic looks better in motion. The high angle shots still make the taillights look a bit funny, but the low angle shots, particularly the first low angle drive by, the taillights look really nice. It's probably because it hides the wrap to the top of the vehicle. I don't think that the bahammer should swing for the threadjack, but the comment might be justifiably demoted to Tier 2 for lack of relevance to the post.
These days, an apartment with Victorian plumbing in New York costs probably about the same as a Veyron... Given the choice between the two (assuming I wanted to live in NY in the first place), I'd probably go with the apartment...
Anywhere else, I'd take the Veyron.
Compared to all the other exotics (Italians and the Koenigsegg, specifically), it was kind of an underwhelming sound. I agree - it does sound like plumbing, but I suppose I was expecting more of a roar.
@philipmein: Same here. I never managed to shoot footage of the Veyrons myself but they weren’t going very fast at all. Unlike Jackie Stewart in his French Racing Blue F1 cars.

Well, part of a giant Hot Wheels track.

Sorry, Mr. Judah.

This was at the Pacific Northwest Historics in Seattle over the weekend...
Chassis # 0666, the very first Ferrari Testarossa 250 TR. Built in 1957... best guesstimate is $20 mil... and it sounds as nice as it looks...

I thought the XJ rear end looked weird, but after video footage I think it looks perfect. BTW, don't know why, there's no audio.
