Did VW show its wide range of "micro-mobility solutions", electric doohickeys for trips "to the fitness studio" after parking the E-Up! ? The Kickstep, Microbully, ped-tric, and VW_1M all fit in the back up the E-Up!

I'm not excited by the E-Up!, 2013 is a long way away. VW made it hard to seem bored by the E-Up! by using that punctuated model name.

/coming back to note that I just scrolled down the home page to see this same joke made by the editors regarding a Renault and now I feel like a total jagoff.

I like it: if you showed it to me, I would call it a 2CV, I'm particularly relieved it didn't end up as one of these bland DS revivals.

The front end is a bit aggressive and insect-like, but I suppose that's what concept cars are for, and we wouldn't have to worry about that if the car ever made it to production.

Gotta love the flared arches: very C2 (pictured).

I can't get lustful over a 2x4, and honestly, if a woman's face isn't pretty, I can't get jiggy with a "hot" body. Hey, you should be looking at her face most of the time.

@so I goes to the local bar, y'know, people: I agree completely, and I can't even understand why this whole idea that skinny is better came about. Not to say that I don't like some slim models, but that's not what makes them attractive.

Shape is definitely more important than size.

I was wondering, when I saw the earlier post, how the fuck you thought this was going to be a mini-van. But I can't expect you to know about existing concept cars.

It's not like you're "obsessed" with cars, or anything.

Besides, I was meaning the rabid religion of vans in the US. Not really who makes/sells/uses more.

That "citycar" here is a "van" in most of Europe.

I really want to like electric cars, I do. 100 mi range on a (optimistically) 4 hour charge seems about par for the course. Battery exchange stations, as Ben mentioned, are a logistical nightmare. And a 20 min quick charge? How far does that get you?

Are electrics doomed to an eternity of daily commutes? Or will somebody come up with some new technology that packs more energy in a smaller, lighter package?

I want to like electric cars, but there's more questions than answers these days.
