First US Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Delivered To New York Developer Benny Caiola, Jr.

The first Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 in the United States, an all-white copy of the latest raging bull, has landed in the hands of collector Benny Caiola, Jr. The 560 HP, all-wheel-drive supercar will be making its home outside of New York City, beside bull-headed cars like Lambo's Jalpa, Countach, Espada, Diablo, Miura and others. It's obvious Benny's a long time fan of the Italian bovine, saying "I've loved Lamborghinis my entire life and have owned nearly every model." There's a joke about old Jaguars that goes "Why do you always buy two Jaguars? To have one to drive while the other's in the shop." We're betting Benny has many, many Lambos for the same reason. Full press release after the jump.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Gets You The Ladies

You would think that a gorgeous high-performance supercar would practically sell itself. Add that Lamborghini badge into the equation, and the marketing department isn't left with much to do, right? Well apparently not. As you know, the real people that buy six-figure exotica aren't usually hardcore enthusiasts. Rather, they're often rich guys looking for something loud and flashy to show off to the ladies. So, Lamborghini has decided to target the target demo with this ad that reminds those poor rich suckers that they don't have a life, and they need to buy a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. Once you have one, brunette models will throw themselves at you, nightclubs will seat you in the VIP section, paparazzi will stalk you, and that deep void in your soul will be filled.

2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, Reviewed

Our friends over at Popular Mechanics spent the weekend behind the wheel of the bull-headed god of white lightning we first fell in love with at the Geneva Motor Show — the 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. So what did they think of the new Lambo and the just-as-new 5.2-liter V10 and its 560 HP and 398 lb-ft of torque?

Lamborghini Picks Los Angeles For U.S. Headquarters Despite Potential For Interruption Of Italian Afternoon Naps

Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini was in the city of angels on Friday for the press event launching the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. While in town, Winkelmann dropped the news that Lambo's finally decided to create a separate sales arm for their North American operations. What took them so long? Our little slice of the global pie of land mass represented 41% of sales of the 2,406 units sold last year by the bull-headed brand and California represented almost one-third of those. So, where else would they choose to place their new U.S. headquarters? Detroit? Right, not so much. But Stephan did have at least one concern about plopping the new HQ in L.A., "we will have to wait until the afternoons to call California from Italy." Yes, well, sucks to be Stephan, right? Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 North American Premiere

We've seen the new Lamborghini LP560-4 at Geneva, but that didn't stop us from checking it out again here in New York for its North American debut. Yes, the updated V10 makes 552 HP. Yes, the new car weighs 44lbs less than the original Gallardo. But none of that really matter unless you're behind the wheel on an open road. So why is it that we can't get enough of the little Lambo?

Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Uncovered at the Geneva Motor Show

With nary a word spoken, and just a quick-cut video of popping champagne bottles and various sheetmetal angles, Lambo took the velvet sheet off black and white versions of its new, faster, lighter Gallardo — the LP560-4. As we already know, it's got a 5.2-liter V10 560 ps (552 hp). We've yet to corner the Lambo people to get the dirt on what makes this engine similar to the Audi RS6's V10, so suffice to say the LP560-4 is lighter than the base Gallardo by around 44lbs and comes in at least two "colors." Five out of five statuesque Italian models agree. More »

Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Official Shots Leaked!

We just showed you shots of the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 snagged from the show floor, and now we bring you these official shots that have just leaked. The new super baby Lambo certainly looks mean in these here press shots. Well, as far as press shots go anyway. It's hard to look mean in all-white with an all-white background.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Caught Ahead of Geneva Motor Show Unveiling

A crack team of Swiss locals stormed the Geneva show ahead of its press-days opening tomorrow. Among the cacophony of forklifts, last-minute hammering and terse words barked in romance tongues, they captured the yet-to-be-unveiled, yet completely uncovered, Lamborghini Gallardo LP560. Word is the name comes from Lamborghini's tweaked 5.2-liter V10 producing 560 metric horses, with the dash-four standing in for its four-wheel-drive gear. The talk is of a lighter, faster Gal that's undergone a mild facelift with cues from the six-figure Reventon bodywork. We'll get all the details and pics tomorrow when the Lambos let fly with their latest media bait, right on schedule.UPDATE: We've now caught the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 in press photos as well! Also — we now have our own live reveal shots of the new Lamborghini which we've helpfully added below..

Lamborghini Gallardo LP550

According to the spying snoops of Brenda Priddy & Company this is the Lamborghini Gallardo LP550 we'll be seeing first hand at the Geneva Motor Show next month. The car, which we're told is painted orange (though seriously, like we can even tell, right?), is said to be powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine rated at 550 bulls horses. The Gallardo LP550 will get a newly designed front and rear fascia, and supposedly is riding on a stiffer body. Along with the mechanical and body panel updates, it'll also supposedly get an improved (and lighter) AWD system and upgraded brakes — and of course, a higher price tag. We're told we should be estimating somewhere in the $200K range — although it could be $250K depending on how low that dollar continues to fall. Full spy report below the jump.
