If this is true, then I applaud the Chinese for following the American Corporate Machine's mantra perfectly:

Let someone else pay for it.

I have to admit, it's to the point I don't believe pretty much any media, any more, though I like to watch Robert Reich fight the power.

    FIGHT THE POWERS THAT BE!

Remember the old Coyote and Roadrunner cartoons? Where the rock fell on the Coyote and left him feeling rather flat??

Mike Meyers and Kanye West should speak out against this. Hu Jintao doesn't care about ___ people. Plus, they could tie it into a movie called "Chiang Kai Shrek" where he and Donkey escape to an island and set up a government in exile.

Does anyone else find it ironic that the Jalopitariat chastises us for getting too political at times, and then baits us with stories like this?

    Just sayin'.

BTW, Pete, thanks for activating my commenting powers a while back. I never got the chance between making snarky remarks about the Big 2.25 and spewing political BS.

With the damage shown in the picture above, I'm surprised they aren't buying tracked vehicles.
