Saab 9-3X Wagon Spotted Cuddling Next To New 9-4X

The folks over at Trollhattan Saab have dug up some images of another new Swedish surprise, the Saab 9-3X lifted from a presentation also showing off the 2010 Saab 9-4X. We're told to expect this new Saab 9-3X to debut at the Paris Motor Show later this year. More below.

2009 Kia Soul Crossover Re-Revealed, Engine Details Emerge

After a few unofficial reveals, the folks at Hyundai's extra value brand have decided to release three official shots of the 2009 Kia Soul. The shots continue to show what amazing things styling can do to what is, ostensibly, a Kia Rio crossover. According to Kia World, the 2009 Soul will come globally with either a gas or diesel 1.6-liter fourbanger or a larger 2.0-liter four.

2009 Citroën C3 Picasso Peeks Out Before Paris Motor Show

The Citroën C3 Picasso is exactly the kind of Europe-only car we salivate for over here in the new world. Small, stylish, economical, extremely well packaged and quirky. Think of it as a tall Honda Fit with legroom in both rows, diesel engines and the kind of personality it seems only the French are capable of squeezing into such a small package. The C3 Picasso is scheduled to premier at the Paris Motor Show in October, but we can reveal a few details early.

2010 Chevy Cruze To Hit Paris Motor Show Like A Missile

The brand all about the 'merican revolution is reporting they'll be revealing an all new car at the Paris Motor Show later this year called the Chevy Cruze. We don't know much other than the 15-foot-long Cruze will seat five, be available in Europe by Spring of next year and have the same global design language as the rest of the bowtied brand. As the Cruze will be just under the size of the Cobalt, we can't help but think this is the car we'd been hearing would be coming to the Lordstown, Ohio plant either as a replacement to, or in addition to, the Chevy Cobalt. We'll have more live from Paris and in the months to come as it shoots out onto the web. For the moment, hit the jump for the press release — and thankfully no more missile references. More »

Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback Coming To Paris Motor Show

We've been excited about the Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback ever since we got confirmation that it would go into production. Now, we've got official shots and details to even further whet our appetites. This is the Ralliart trim model, which will have a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four pumping out a WRX-battling 240 HP. No word yet on an Evo Sportback, but we'd be plenty happy with this Ralliart if it comes to the US. The car will debut at the Paris Motor Show this fall, where we'll be able to get a closer look. For now, check out the full press release after the jump. More »

2009 Audi S4 Details Begin To Emerge

Though we'll have to wait for the 2008 Paris Motor Show for a full reveal, bit-by-bit the specs are filtering out on the 2009 Audi S4 — or is it 2010 Audi S4 — we're still confused by Audi's lack-of-model-year naming scheme for product. We already knew it would get a supercharged (which could mean turbosupercharged, depending upon which report you read) 3.0-liter V6 backed by a 6-speed twin-clutch lovingly referred to as "S-Tronic." What's news is that traction control/AWD will be provided by the Quattro system as expected, and that the updated Audi will run the 0-to-62 (0-100 km/h) in under six seconds thanks to approximately 350 HP on tap. 2009 Kia Soul, Revealed

The first time we saw the boxy little 2009 Kia Soul it was still just a concept, and a funky tribal tattoo-covered one at that. Since then we've had peeks at the production model, but now we get to see the full picture. This is the first official image of the 2009 Kia Soul, and for an econo-box, it doesn't look all too shabby. Think of it as the Korean alternative to the Scion xB, although the original Soul concept was actually a joint-venture between the Kia's design studios in California and Korea, and the actual production model was designed by Kia's European team. But what does all this mean for you? More »

2009 BMW 7-Series Caught On Roman Holiday

The Italian Stallions over at the Mediterranean version of the blog about autos caught these photos of a disguised 2009 BMW 7-series while cruising down the autostrada. We'd like to think they were wearing a yellowed wife beater, gold medallion, driving a mid-'90s Panda and gesticulating wildly while they took them, which would help explain why they're so fuzzy. Expect the new 7-series to be introduced at the 2008 Paris Motor Show with Concept CS-aping looks. [Via Autoblog.it]

Possible Ferrari Dino Spied At Track, On Toy Store Shelves

We keep being told there's no plans for a Ferrari Dino in the future and no cars are in the works. Info like that flies in the face of suspiciously Ferrari Dino-shaped cars on dynos and today's fresh Ferrari mule running around a test track. World Car Fans is running a spy photo of what is either a shocking new shooting brake, or a very heavily camouflaged Ferrari. Speculation puts the car as a platform mate of the Maserati GranTourismo on a diet and sporting V8 power. Guess we'll just have to wait for the Paris Motor Show and see what the new car looks like and what it will be called. Or we could head over to Toys R'Us. World Car Fans is also reporting... More »

2009 Kia Soul Photos Leaked Ahead Of Paris?

These images of the 2009 Kia Soul production vehicle have mysteriously found there way onto Kia World. They reveal a vehicle remarkably similar to the Kia Soul Burner Concept from the Geneva Auto Show. The production version is missing the tacky paintjob and loud interior, but otherwise looks virtually identical to the Scion xB aping concept.

2009 BMW 7-Series

Only lightly camouflaged compared to prior spy photos of the new BMW 7-Series, this newly-caught 7-Series peeked out during what was allegedly a marketing team photo shoot in Melbourne, Australia. Thanks to the shots from CarPoint.com.au, you can see the new grille looks to have a strong resemblance to the CS Concept from the 2007 Shanghai Auto Show. We've been told the styling of the new big BMW has a totally different feeling than the current E65 model, making the car look visually slimmer and tighter. We'll have to see that to believe it given the current explosion in weight and size of every automaker's new models. Expect the new 7er to be officially unveiled no sooner than the Paris Motor Show this fall. [CarPoint.com.au]

Fiat's Gone Mad: The Ducato Truckster

Having introduced it in Madrid earlier this year, Fiat showed off the Ducato Truckster at the Paris show earlier today, proving that the company's gone just about as batshit insane as can be imagined without an absinthe bender and a toke on Gary Busey's peace pipe. It's the company's take on a racing truck, based on its revamped Ducato commercial platform. Yep, this company may have a future after all. More »

Dodge Avenger Concept Shots Leaked

Here it is, courtesy of the embargos-be-damned Carscoop: It's the Dodge Avenger Concept set to be unveiled at the Paris show later this month. It seems the Dodge boys are planning to save the real introduction for the Detroit show in early 2007, so the Paris Avenger (starring Maurice Chevalier) will technically be a prototype. Still, it'll be a concept in the loosest definition, as we hear the production version coming in mid-to-late 2007 will be nearly identical. Stay tuned for tech specs. More »

Hyundai Arnejs Concept, in the Flejsh?

Hyundai announced last week that it would show off its new hatch concept, the Arnejs (pronounced Arnez) at the Paris auto show later this month. We don't know how they did it, but the guys from Motor Authority say they've procured IRL shots of the Arnejs in advance of its reveal. Truth be told, it's a pretty attractive proposition for the European market, with a basis in the C'eed concept the company showed off in Geneva earlier this year. We're just wondering if Toyota's planning to sue over use of the nose. More »
