Wait up - wasn't it only a few days ago that we were discussing what would happen if Japanese tuner crowd lunacy was to be transplanted to 'merican shores?
@layabout: I was thinking of the ones with the yard-long splitters and yellow vertical exhausts and lord-knows-what that were just recently featured on these pages and I can't be arsed to dig out the link, sorry.
This thing was more hideous in person. It certainly attracted a crowd there, though. I was surprised it got such a prime spot in Ford's display. Right next to the tuned Lincoln MKS. At least it wasn't yet another custom Flex.
Ray, what did you think of the show this year? It seemed there was a lot less foot traffic than in past years. The number of companies there held steady but they sent fewer people. Still way too much to try to see in a week.
@HansStuckJr: I heard that somewhere around 200 companies bailed on their booths. The organizers did a good job of covering it up, but that's why we saw a lot more knock-off's in the central hall. The economy seemed to keep a lot of the tire-kicking traffic away as well, which made my job easier. This car was UGLY! Yet, one of the better bat-mobile like cars I saw.

With over 1000hp on the burner, pretty damned fast.
And in my humble opinion, it can't get out of my sight fast enough.
