Oh wait, it's a Mustang. All set then!

Mr. Science, you listening? I seem to recall a Ford station wagon in your driveway that would make an excellent platform for such a conversion.

Hmm. I wonder if I can find one... sounds like a fun project.

Today we salute you, Mr. Crammed a twin-turbo Viper V-10 into a Mustang guy
(Mr. Crammed a twin-turbo Viper V-10 into a Mustang guy)
Some men buy fast mustangs, some men buy fast vipers, you bought both and forced them to have sex
(it must be love)
You gave up your job, you gave up your wife, you lived in your garage... on purpose
(it was so worth it)
So crack open a case of Jalop-branded brefass Scotch Dr. Frankenstein, your car will be the envy of commenters everywhere

Hello?
Yes, is this Cobra Scott
Er, yes... Who's this.
Sir, this is Bill Finkle, I'm with the SAE. We've had a complaint about your car.
Oh? What's the problem.
Well sir, without going into too many details, you've used up all the horsepower.
What?
Yes, sorry, but we can't allow your mustang to be dynoed, there simply isn't enough horsepower left to go around, especially with Mercedes and BMW using up all the German horses.
Well, I mean...
Sorry sir, there's nothing more we can do. You could try and borrow some horsepower from the Internet, I suppose. There's plenty of guys there who have horsepower stockpiled that they're not actually using.
I guess I could head over to the Temple of VTEC.
Good plan sir. Try googling "VTECH". That should narrow the search.

OUCH.
Not funny.
Not funny.
VTEC!

If he wanted mt love, I would have loved to have seen an original Cobra 427 REPLICA with a Viper V10. Could you imagine that?
Instead, I see a stuffed in engine, some sort of monster inside of the car, that has to be rollcaged and restructured if only to hold all the weight of the truck engine up front.
Not only that, but I also dislike Mustang's very much, so it could be my inner Mustang hate talking, but I also prefer things to be restored, and although this is very... umm.. unique, that's one more Viper without an engine, and one less Mustang GT that isn't all original.

I'm a big fan of originality in regard to rare and desirable vehicles, and while sightings of this fairly short-lived generation are becoming increasingly rare, it will be several more years before it reaches my preferred level of rarity. Within the realm of ubiquitous vehicles, I'm a fan of "different".
I gotta say, I see nothing that I don't like about this.

"this is the biggest waste of cash, and the most stupid conversion I've ever seen"
I know, isn't it cool?

Hey, CobraScott... LTDScott... sleeper-driving Ford guys... is he keeping a secret from us?

I just got done counciling a guy against dropping a 427 Cobra into his Opel GT, for the same reason that it's a 1) bastardization of family lines and 2) crazy huge in that chassis.
Maybe it could be done. But shoving the firewall aft will make the already tiny GT cockpit even more laughably small.
As for this GT, though - must see video. Must hear tires screaming in overheated horror.
