New Chevy Compact To Re-Rediscover Platform Prostitution... Again

Conflicting reports are surfacing on a new Chevy small car coming to the show scene this fall, with production tentatively starting at Lordstown, Ohio early in 2009. Oshawa, Ontario GM Plant To Build Mysterious Second RWD Vehicle

The tentative agreement announced earlier today between the Canadian Auto Workers and the General apparently contains provisions for, among other things, increased GM investment in production of a new vehicle at the Oshawa, Ontario plant. Why does this plant sound so familiar? Well, it's probably because it's where the 2010 Chevy Camaro will be built. Although it's unknown what this second vehicle they'll be building there later this year will be, we do know it'll be rear-wheel drive. Feel free to go ahead and begin your speculation after the jump, but our money's on a large Cadillac or a Buick, maybe even a Caprice! The opportunities feel endless! But what say you? [CTV.ca]

Holiday Approaching, Bagged 1991 Caprice Wagon Must Go!

You know what the problem is with ordinary Caprice wagons? Yep, the ride height! Those of you looking for a very, very low early-90s Caprice wagon need search no more, now that we've found this "Carpice" for you! The intriguing thing about this car (other than the engineering design behind that 3-link rear suspension) is the fact that the owner "must sell soon for the holiday." What holiday? Is he or she tuned into some set of holidays the rest of us don't get to experience? Thanks to Zweirad for the tip! [Craigslist Raleigh (go here if the ad disappears)]
