You have to assume he started high.
(I crack myself up.)

Unmoletested All-Trac celicas are hard to come by, though I'd more readily drop 11k on the 89-93 Celica Alltrac (the one just before quad headlights)

Also, he's allowing us to make "a better offer". How generous is this guy?
Best price evar.

That said, even if I had $11k to spend on a car, there are others that I'd rather have, but there are also a lot of cars in that price range that I'd take this over.

At half the price, this would be a really good deal.

But most of my 80s car memories are the mundane and mediocre stuff: Chrysler minivans, Buick Regals, Suburbans. I guess nobody in my family had cool cars back then. Of course, that was partially my fault for financially burdening my parents. Heisenberg principle!

There's always people in the market for '80s cars. It's the people who are nostalgic for 60s and 70s muscle but can't afford it.

But not until I beat the seller over the head with the What the Hell Are You Smoking Stick.
$11K for a Celica, no matter how well treated, means the valve cover had better be made of solid gold. Yes, that would upset the handling.
