I probably would not be able to afford the maintenance. Our local BMW/Mercedes dealer is a crook on top of all that. Although eBay and the Internet have improved the chances of bypassing those jackasses completely.

These cars seem to fall into only two catagories around here (Atlanta): $10,000+ nice ones (635Csi 5spd <150K miles) or sub $3,000 PCH candidates (250K+ miles L6 automatic, needs lots of work). Very little in between.
