    Phenomenal visuals ans state-of-the-art sounds are all very well, But I always felt that the Celica of this shape was just a prelude to the main event:-

    Did they hire the same ad agency as the Datsun? That cheesy narrator seemed awfully familiar... this commercial ALMOST gives the 280ZX BLACK GOLD a run for its money

    man growing up i used to be in love with this car. i thought the headlights were so cool.. you can even flip them all the way..

    @c0de: My friend's mom had a blue one back in the day. The design is still cool, IMO.


    The fact that the next generation became front-drive was arguably the first sign that ToMoCo was starting down the path to becoming a FFZ (fun-free zone).
