    @Maxichamp: On that note, I saw a half-Jeep-CJ, half-early-'80s-Hilux chimera this afternoon. Wasn't quick enough with the camera, though.

    It's fun watching the readers trying to decode the 'gangsta' hipspeeak. I'm guessing "hella bass" is one of those effing low range stereo cannons that cause shitboxes to vibrate and expand visibly at stoplights.

    @Michael J Backus: It is possible that the term "hella" originated at my high school in Alameda (next door to Oakland) in the late 70s. That's a claim I hear from time to time. In any case, TheEastBayKid is an Oakland native, still lives there, and has every right to use East Bay slang.

    @OldeEnglishD: Do you refer to atrocities in general, or is there some base level of respect that AMC's are supposed to deserve? Maybe I'm just so used to seeing donks here in the South (though usually its late malaise GM or Ford). The way I see it, most AMC's are so bfugly that there is little you can do to make them better or worse. At the very least, its amusing that someone is willing to be seen driving this.
