2009 Nissan 370Z: Design Dissected |

Otherwise, I'm diggin' the 370Z design. It's lost some of that half-used bar of soap look of the 350Z.

As for the 370Z, I like the new design better in almost every way. The headlights are not my favorite though.

I also agree that the new Z looks are much improved over the 350Z.

You guys are wrong here (that's right, I said your opinion on a subject is incorrect)...
Nissan has turned the Z back into what it should be... when you see one in person, you will understand. If you are lucky enough to drive one (from what I hear), you will be completely sold.
Nissan fixed the Z and (unlike what BMW did with the 135) has gone back to its roots successfully...

don't try to use your fancy UK logic on me...
Jalopnik's haterade ebbs and flows with the week. I bet if this post was done on a late friday afternoon, everyone would love this car.

Do we have any reason to believe this car will be any lighter than the outgoing model?
I doubt how much has really changed, though I recognize the purpose of this article was to explore the design.

More specifically, the 350's design failed in its attempt to implement very geometric looking curves combined with hard angles. If you're going to abandon organic looking designs, you should go all straight-lines-and-angles (a-la Cadillac).
The 370, on the other hand, is a very organic design to my eyes. Looks like skin over muscle.
