The Siata, though, is worthwhile hell - well, it would be, if you could find an English-speaking parts dealer. Or any parts dealer at all, for that matter.
VW with a plywood body? Easy. Even if they want 900E too much for it.

The condition is "gebruikt"--which means, roughly, "clumsily built of wrong ruined trash by a perceptually impaired lunatic whose reach exceeded his grasp--of automobiles, style, design, fabrication, aerodynamics and common sense."

I mean.
Just.
Wow.
There is NO PCH here because neither car is interesting enough to warrant ANYONE buying it in the first place.

Surely no one over the age of 6 thought that this car was a good idea.

There is nothing I can say that will trump this description. I can only hope that when the Belgian Ministry of Crime, Punishment and Anti-French Sentiment saw the results of that prisoner's labour, that they added another 25 years to his sentence, sending him back to work until he fixed the mess he'd made.

Then he takes his uniform and walks out of the prison.
Later he manages to sneak across the border into France where he catches a steamer to China where he makes a fortune designing faux iPhones and BMW sport utes.

Siata may no longer exist, but nor will Belgium in ten years or so:

Jebus H Crackers, that thing's like out of that execrable movie Hostel: You must kill someone, and then drive this car in public, that is the contract. Hey man, I already used the floor sander to eviscerate the Coed, but I didn't sign up for that, not the car, no . . .NO!
Boy, and thanks Murilee; "Go Here if the ad disappears." We should be so lucky. I'm hoping Anthony will wish it into the corn field.
That thing'll never run, the soul of the donor VW will be too ashamed.
