    You could have purchased the Olds Division for that kind of money.

    The 442s of this era were very, very sweet rides and I have fond memories of a particular pearlized white w/red interior 442 but a million bucks? Even Barr-Jack would laugh at that, and they invented inflated muscle prices!

    @layabout: Linda Vaughn was the Hurst "representative" for years. She showed up at a lot of races and events and was the fantasy of many prepubescent boys and their fathers. She's also stacked.

    This one would have gone for $200K and it's a convertible pace car but it's a 72. My favorite part is where it says "If you don't think it is worth what I am asking for it then don't bid."

    Hurst Olds are really really expensive. Not that fucking expensive though. It's not unusual for them to be around $100K +/-. I'd still give up a minor body part for it though. A real low numbers 68 in perfect condition might get that. Maybe. I'm a fanboy and I say crack pipe.

    umm, it says one million, not one BILLION. your not buying much of a 'car collection' for a mil. much less a house and boat too.

    @MissingPieces: Well that works out at about £685k So that'll be £300k on a house £50k on a boat £120k would get me 7 or 8 decent cars,so that's £470k total leaving just over £200k. I didn't say the cars or boat had to be new.

    @MissingPieces: A car collection doesn't have to be all expensive cars, new or old. If I set aside $180k for cars only, I could get an MR2 turbo for $5k, a DeLorean for $20-25k... see where I'm going with this?
