That's easily $20 bucks, I wouldn't even blink at that. What's good is that so many people would NOT want that when they could have a Camaro or Mustang model instead. That non-maintstream Rambler heritage is working in your favor.
The problem is the rarity of the model kit. If there were fifty thousand of these left new in plastic, not only would I build it, I'd paint it olive gold with a couple rust spots, paint the passenger-side front quarter-panel a nice shade of eggshell white, and put a couple rust spots along the rockers and behind the wheels.
Oh, and those rims are fine in the back. Get a couple awful steelies for the front.
@Novaload Misses Murilee: Chrysler cars with pickup beds should have "-page" appended to their names, according to the Official Jalopnik CarTruck Naming Convention Guide, so this is actually an Imperipage.
I'd like to have the real car! Aren't they like incredibly rare? That model still in shrink wrap is schweet, I'm going to have to remember to check EBay when I get home, thanksalot.

Imagine that SC/Rambler kit mated with a model of one of these. Jeep chassis, possibly the Rambler engine, red, white, and gold.

I would've sent a tip about this kit, but by the time I saw it, the auction had ended.. Pretty Jalop kinda ride though, I thought.
