"First, Manufacture-san, get picture in brain. Picture of truck. Hokay?"
"Got it."
"Now, you take brock of iron. Make like picture."
There is a Zen purity of purpose behind the design of the older sport-utes. Where do you want to go? What do you want to take with you? Very well, load it and we'll go. Yes, now. Air conditioning? Plush seats? You don't need that stuff. If you did, we wouldn't have left the paved road three hours ago, not have packed two week's worth of food and another week's worth of fishing gear. You would've stayed home.

This needs some motivation by Cummins.

Speaking of hands, in the winch there, I seem to see part of someone's upper extremity.

No, the XJ line had a Wagoneer series in the mid-90's after the death of the original Wagoneer.
/end Jeep nerdiness.

How awesome would this be if it had the Willy 3.8 Tornado I-6 under the hood? Overhead-cam Jeep! Probably a tweaked 360 or something under there now.

But I will say that I've always loved these Jeeps.. I'd probably pick one over a Ramcharger even, if there were any left up here.

Something that both Kaiser, and International thought that families should have better access to the rear seats.

Also, considering the era of this Wagoneer, there has to be points deducted for the electric winch. This generation deserves a PTO styled winch just the same as the modern Jeeps deserve the brute pulling force of a hydraulic 2 speed MileMarker. Yes, I know they are useless if the motor is in water, but that is why you do not hit trail alone.
