Ford and Chevy seem to be the only ones making an effort staying alive while Chrysler is just the child who doesnt listen to his parents.

Additionally, the taillights no longer suck. Party!

Chrysler's abysmal midsize offerings more than make up for it, though. *shudder*

Now, let me see the updated MKZ that will be based on this. And let me see a goddamned powerplant and AWD installed into it. I mean a powerplant. It's a capable enough car to handle a bit of engine, give me something so I can actually desire it. As I said before. Tiny, high-revving V8 or turbo-six with 300+ horsepower, I'm happy.
Also. I would like to nominate myself, Mr. Ash, Mr. Science, and several of the Doctors who have ranted with us, to head down to Detwah to put on a seminar.
This seminar shall be entitled, "The Wagon: It Need Not Have Woodgrain Panelling, And How It Can Be Cool". We will put it on for all Three, and the closing argument will feature the Holden Commodore Sportwagon. All we need is Wert to foot the bill.

I just want them to realize that wagons won't necessarily cannibalize crossover sales. I bet if they dug down a little deeper, they'd realize that the wagon market are mostly car people and that the CUV market are mostly (ex-)SUV people. I know I personally would not shop an Edge over a Fusion wagon--wouldn't even really consider it.

I'll keep my current car for now--a manual V6. Very close and getting better with each new version!

This doesn't make sense. The Mazda 6 has the manual mode on the left. Even the Camry has it on the left. Why must a person look like their flirting with the passenger if they want to use this technology?

The Infiniti G35 has it on the right, with upshift forward (this may have changed with last year's redesign, though).
The Mazda CX-9 has it on the left, with upshift backward.

Regardless: No manual V6? dammit, Ford. You were doing so well.

It's a little tribute to us Highway Warriors, and I friggin' love it.

Full disclosure: Unnecessary interior lighting is probably my favourite thing in the world. My mom's CX-9 has a tiny little LED in the sunroof controls that bathes the entire console in blue light at night, and similar blue lights in the doors (I think they're only on the Grand Touring). Put your drink in a lit cupholder and watch the way the light dances around the light and the Sprite.
