Lucky Day: Oh, great. You killed the invisible swordsman! Ned Nederlander: [runs over to check] He's dead, all right. Dusty Bottoms: How was I supposed to know where he was? Lucky Day: You were supposed to fire up. *We* both fired *up*. [aside] Lucky Day: It's like living with a six-year old.
@FuzzyPlushroom: Well, to be fair, I don't think I've ever seen a Corolla doing above the speed limit.
But, yes. The moment somebody who might just at heart be an inconsiderate bastard, starts hypermiling, it underscores his bastardness and highlights it in italics.
@Rust-MyEnemy 20v Turbo: My friend who showed me that you can drive fast and not be reckless was a Corolla driver. Although, he was from Boston.
Also, when I hypermiled a little this summer, I was never the slowest car on the road. And I managed a 20% fuel efficiency increase. I have no idea what these slowpokes are doing.
@sos10: That reads a little passive-aggressive. Are you a closet hypermiler who has not yet come out? I've heard it's the hardest thing to tell your parents.

(that still looks cool as shit to me though... is that normal?!?!)
And when it comes to the Hybrid version it doesn't assimilate the trendy shape, or feel the need to paste "LOOK AT ME, I'M A HYBRID" along its flanks
It's just a pleasant piece of American automotive talent.

Those big wagons always remind of "Adventures in Babysitting".

By the way, the only thing better than a wood paneled station wagon is a wagon with paneling AND a vinyl top! '73 Country Squire FTW!

He was doing at least 25mph less than he should have been.
I went easy on him, he was probably hypermiling.
Or, there's the outside chance he was an inconsiderate bastard.
