Last year Automobile reported Volkswagen was considering a pickup to face off against the spectre of a similar Mercedes based on the M-Class platform. While neither cars have been confirmed by their respective companies, VW's gone and fired the first shot by creating a Touareg pickup show truck, under the banner of its Individual factory-custom program.
