Former NASCAR Technical Inspector Mauricia Grant is suing the racing organization to the tune of $250 million, citing some pretty extraordinary examples of racial, sexual, religious and downright ridiculous discrimination. In a 40-page legal filing made in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Tuesday, Grant claims that, on many occasions, other officials referred to her as a "Nappy Headed Mo," "Mohammed," and "Al Queda" as well as exposing their penises for her inspection. FIA President Max Mosley has been caught on film allegedly taking part in what UK tabloid News of the World has characterized as a "Nazi orgy." Although we initially thought it was the world's zaniest April Fool's joke, we were wrong. Sick and wrong. During the five-hour video, which the tabloid also has in possession (and which we have had a quick clip from up top*) Mosley appears to be both dominated and submitting to the five hookers, who NOTW alleges were dressed both as Nazis and concentration camp prisoners. The 67-year-old, who has been married for 48 years, was at one point whipped so hard that the orgy had to be halted while a bandage was applied to stop his bleeding. More »

Allegations of corruption inside Volkswagen are widening, to include possibly 50 to 60 people and a network of shell companies that would make the Russian mob blush. VW chairman Bernd Pischetsrieder told German daily Sueddeutsche Zeitung that the network, allegedly set up to garner contracts from VW, is larger than he and prosecutors at first suspected. At the center of the investigation are close aides of former human resources head, Peter Hartz, who resigned last month. Allegations also include fraud involving the company's works council — the labor-management relations board used by many European companies — including the use of council funds for vacations. More »

The US Justice Department must not have read Jeremy Clarkson's excellent defense of bribery, apropos of VW's recent sex-and-bribery scandal, or they'd likely reconsider going after Mercedes for what may be similar offenses. The department's investigation was launched after a former Chrysler accountant alleged in a lawsuit that the company kept dozens of secret bank accounts from which to ply foreign dignitaries in Africa and South America.
