Sega's classic arcade racer Daytona USA is just coming to consoles with a high-def visual overhaul, steering wheel support and online multiplayer. And it's coming in just two weeks! For ten bucks!! Rolling staaaaaarrrrt!!!

The downloadable Daytona USA for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, as you can see in the video above, has been given a 16:9 widescreen update, is playable with the Logitech GT Driving Force steering wheel controller on PS3 and "all Xbox 360-supported steering wheel controllers," but retains its endearingly cheesy 1993 soundtrack.

Daytona USA for PSN and XBLA also packs in a handful of console-specific modes. Beyond Arcade mode, we have Survival and Time Trial modes, plus support for up to eight players in online races. Sound good? Yes, yes, I totally agree.
