A relatively clean exterior, thanks to interior mounted LIDARs. Interestingly, the most commonly used sensors weren't designed for outdoor use, and tend to get a bit unhappy in the dust and rain. By mounting them inside, the units are protected, but the outside glass still gets dirty and can potentially foul things up.
