How about thinking about this the other way around? You don't want to be late for your secret agent business, and you don't want to stand out. Beige 2007 Camry it is!
@jedchev: If the car is older than 1981, condition matters more than history, generally.
@maximum_sarge: I think it may have to do with how fast it renders on smartphones. Bandwidth is certainly not the reason to call it slow.
@hotrodandcustomart: It's simple: the K&N filter makes a strong choice for flow over filtration ability, but most cars don't gain anything from the extra flow. Stock paper filters on most modern cars have tons of surface area and do a very good job. MAF sensors and other air mass sensing technology make the engine use the right amount of fuel even if flow is not perfect. It's not that they are bad, they just don't add much.
@hotrodandcustomart: Or you could put a good filter or intake on, instead of K&N.

More seriously, modern cars have much better air intake tracts than older cars did. It's probably a waste to upgrade the intake without at least chiptuning first.
@LappingLuke: And as far as I am concerned, if we have to keep weakening the Fourth Amendment in order to travel freely about the country, then it doesn't matter if they never blow up another plane again.
@Psiu! Puxa!: You're right, your 240 is the best, anyway...: I'll tell you this: there's nothing wrong with driving a car that women love. Nothing at all.
@ChrisFu: Hint: the CO2 output will track the fuel consumption improvement. The fuel, when used properly, always produces the same amount of CO2 per gallon. The CO2 specs are just there for people who don't realize this.
Murilee: Thanks for all of it; we'll always be glad if we can get you back in the future.

A friend covered another friend's entire apartment in aluminum foil, back in 2004. When I say entire, I mean entire. They wrapped the dust bunnies under his bed in foil.
@Baby Beater Benz: Even by Malaise standards this car had sloppy handling. I wonder how much better it would have done if they'd put another 20 pounds of air in those tires. Probably would have been both harsh and wallowy at the same time.
@duurtlang: The math there just doesn't make any sense. It's not that many times heavier and it's RWD. I suspect it comes down to gearing plus very early smog controls.
Try the 1969 Impala review from the related videos. I'm surprised they don't pop a bead during that cornering. It's positively crazy.
@Hot_Carl: I don't think that's a Shopped background; I think they just know a great-looking spot to drive the cars too. This isn't surprising; I know a couple of those nearby in case I need to take car pictures.
@Timmy: Hint: the red/yellow/white cables work just fine as component red/green/blue cables as well. The signal doesn't care what color the cable is. Of course this is not useful for HDMI, but plenty of gear still does component video.
That inspired a little Googling which turned up this: [tampa.craigslist.org]
What do you think? CommutaCar to motorcycle trike - nice price, or crack pipe? It seems like the worst of both worlds: a horrible chassis with an inefficient drivetrain.
@Frank Grimes: But you might not notice if your car is running a little rich or lean until the next plug change.
@Matt Farah: Exactly. Too much of it to be even close to practical. Nice idea on a small scale but just totally impractical for the Gulf.
@Vintage Racer -ready to go racing...: I used to own an early 1974 260Z. The particular example I had was rubbish, but the car as an idea was great. It had the stronger body from the late 240z without a bunch of extra weight. I put some 1972 SUs on it, replaced the interlock ignition with a GM HEI, added headers and had a custom exhaust installed, put in a late 5-speed and a shorter rear end. It was fun to drive and could start out from a dead stop in 5th gear without totally destroying the clutch.
@Tysto: I saw a running, driving Yugo in 2000. There used to be a very clean one around here in the late 90s. I haven't seen one since, so I assume they are basically all dead at this point.
