So this morning I checked to see if they had recieved my payment for January and there was no payment activity on my current charges. When you talk to their billing department, they are so rude and basically called me a liar. I've had the same problem also with Comcast. I've never had so much trouble trying to give people money that is due to them. Why has so many corporations in this country turned into assholes?

]]> Several years ago, before the big crack down on ID's, I worked at a convenience store in Kentucky. This 9-10 year old kid came in the store and tried to buy chewing tobacco, and I refused to sell it to him. His big ole mean daddy came in and yelled at me and told me the kid had been chewing it for several years, and I better sell it to the kid. Didn't do it, was in a mean mood that day. Later the owner of the store said something to me about it, but I told him I'm not selling tobacco to a 9 year old. Now, in WAlmart I get carded to buy tobacco and antihistimines, and i'm almost 60. Times have changed.

]]> Let me count the ways I hate Comcast. Oh wait, can't count that high. I recently paid my bill via telephone and the CSR mentioned I would be charged 4.50$ to make this payment. To which I replied, "no I won't". It's ridiculous to have to pay money to give them money. For some reason, he relented and they agreed to take money from me without charging me more to pay them. We'll see. I bet the charge shows up the next time I get a paper bill.
