RE: Corvair vs. F85 -Don't "LeMonize" either; there's gotta be a way to fit the Corvair's rear suspension/engine cradle/transaxle into the back of the Olds, and hook the 215 V8 up to it all...
Seriously though, you should resurrect the F85 IMO. Corvairs have their fans (and detractors), but 95% of the time the first reaction to the F85 would be "Wha?" That makes it a worthy project all by itself.
Greetings sir. Just wanted to say it was a pleasure to meet and talk to you at LeMons. Your commentary and pictures are mighty impressive. Hopefully i'll be back online soon, and will have my pictures posted on flickr. My account is andy_wallwhore if you want to check out some of my stuff (i'll have to friend you to show all though) Cheers A.
Hey: I just noticed the message you left for me about posting photos -- thanks!
Unfortunately the gawker media hamsters (or whatever rodent keeps these sites running) must've thought your instructions were supposed to be a linked image. I did figure it out though (I think; just haven't had the need to use it lately), so all is good.
