2.3 EcoBoost in a Mustang you say? Sounds familiar...
If this pic doesn't encapsulate the 50's, I don't know what does.
I think those are pics of different design studies before the final concept design was finalized. Good catch though.
needs moar engine/exhaust sound!!
Yes, but isn't that how most advanced tech starts in cars? Look at all the tech that was in high end cars like the MB S-Class and Porsche Cayenne 10 years ago that's now trickling down to more "normal" cars and SUVs.

I find this exciting because they are at least willing to go out of the box and attempt to prove it out for customer use so they can get more feedback and refine the process while bringing down costs the more volume they produce (which may not be much, but it's more than there is now).

awe, nice catch. Maybe he just changed tires?
What I heard on the news here in Detroit this morning just talking about the commercial is that because it was played during halftime, it is technically considered as part of the game footage and owned by the NFL to broadcast, not Chrysler. Sounds dumb, but that's most logical answer from the info I've gathered.
Really? a KIA sedan? That's one sad man if he's dreaming about that car.
Drinking while on the job? Just fine according to Annheiser-Busch. Bud Light is pretty much water anyways LOL.
reminds me a lot of the Neon SRT4
The answer is simple of course, a first or second gen Taurus SHO. 0-60 in about 6.5 seconds, 140mph top speed and all for about $1-4K these days.
They probably took the blueprints from this guy: [articles.businessinsider.com]
Well it has a blue oval with chrome lettering on it and that's pretty damn close.

Tell me, if you and some others spent years of your life designing, engineering and building a car, then a year or 2 after it came out, some one started making crappy knockoffs of it, how would that make you feel? They basically ripped off all of the hard work you and your team did to make a short buck and dilute your product.

This really pisses me off because I was on the engineering team for the 2009 and up F-150 and we worked our a$$es off to make the best truck we could and now they go make a POS version of it and cut into our sales! This is BS! Kill it with Fire!
I like when Rod's just laying in the grass eating a sandwich at 1:12 LOL
