I don't know, but I want to personally thank her parents.
Yeah, I was loving the car up to this point, then completely forgot about it and was wondering why there weren't some close up's of this girl next to whatever car is in the picture, facing the car with her hands on the hood...yes please!
Once I caught that back end I forgot there was even a car...goodness gracious.
Agreed with snap, the only reason motorcycles are dangerous is the idiots behind cages don't look for us and drive like they are the only ones on the roads.
I fully agree, lucky dumb ass
Yeah, I fully agree. Same with the bike to be honest, although I have more respect for that rider than the driver...I see no real talent there, just dollar signs. Meh.
I didn't say a word about Harley owners, yet. And I stick with my statement, if you are intelligent and not just out to buy into the lifestyle MOST Harley owners think they get by writing a huge check, you would never buy a Harley. Every bike they make, is done better by another company in every way shape or form. That's my opinion, read opinion, and I realize others may think I'm wrong...but I'm ok with that...because I've obviously done more research than said people. :) Do you know what they did to Buell? If so, you also realize Harley as a company, should get no respect what-so-ever. $.02 rant off.
Not to mention the amazing cars you can buy that are between 1-3 years old for that price.
Harley didn't make this bike though, they needed help. I do agree that a lot of Harley's look amazing, but I'm far too informed to ever buy one, and I've been riding since I was 16. The famous quote always stands true, Harley Davidson, turning gas into noise without the encumbrance of speed. On a side note, if anyone is needing an oil spot on their driveway, just buy a Harley, they're always willing to help out with that!
I worry about the STi with the lack of Evo, I think the WRX will always have a place (I own a bugeye wrx and LOVE it) but the STi might lose support with no EVO, especially with the WRX HP getting awfully close to the STi.
I agree, with all the press and numbers the car was putting up, I was completely impressed (and I've always hated fords). I have to say this news isn't horribly surprising...
True, Fargo was at the bottom of Lake Agassiz at one point in time. It also doesn't help that the red river gathers all the rain/snow melt starting about 70 miles south and then heads north and empties out in Canada. Basically the entire Red River Valley is the flood plain for that river.
You can see the painted lines below the surface of the water. If it gets too deep they'll shut the roads down.
It is quite eerie to drive through this, I grew up in Fargo and this seems to be the norm in the spring lately. After the flood in '97, it's flooded every spring since.
@ummagumma82: I agree, especially in a Buick (kinda). Far too many car companies are going away from this. I don't care if the flappy paddle is faster, I want to drive a manual, period.
@Skunky: I was thinking along the same lines
Awesome. Pure awesome. :)
One of the first cars I saw that blew me away was a Pantera. Very cool looking car to a kid from small town ND. I believe I saw that Pantera on the interstate somewhere around Philadelphia. #detomaso
