I think "sidezooming" may not always be zooming, but it's using all available lanes as marked... But, how about going west into the tunnel, and dealing with all the folks exiting and re-entering the freeway?

<![CDATA[topdown commented on 1960 Peugeot 403, With Bonus French Car Poll]]> I had two (new) 403s back in the day. No big 403 on the hood though. Most reliable cars I ever had until the Infiniti and great features:
1. Manual sunroof, pull down handle, pull sunroof back.
2. Screw down luggage rack, no straps, brackets etc.
3. Seats folded down into beds, nuff said.
4. Rock hard Michellins good for 100K miles.
Did a valve job on the first one at 80K and discovered it was running on stems only... Slow, but great gearing for 50-80 acceleration.

<![CDATA[topdown commented on California To Allow Windshield-Mounted GPS, Finally]]> There's nothing obscured behind my Garmin except the hood of the car. On the other hand, the rear view mirror on my Bimmer is below my eye level and it seriously screws my view of right hand sweepers, cars entering from the right, etc.
