Eh, it's the other way around and I have no way to pause the radio to let the TV catch up.
I'm looking at some complicated tutorials about using the line-in and line-out on my Mac paired with some GarageBand effects to delay by a couple seconds.
I have a bit of a specific technical question with AM/FM radio and time-delaying a feed:
My problem is one of annoyance mostly. The Texas Rangers have a new television play-by-play guy this year and he is HORRIBLE. The cheesy catchphrases give me nightmares that could keep the evilest demons awake. I'd like to be able to sync the Rangers' radio announcers with my television, but the radio broadcast is way ahead of the TV (couple seconds).
I've tried using streaming radio apps like TuneIn Radio that buffer and allow pausing, but soon learned about MLB blackout restrictions that prevent game audio from being streamed online locally.
So with an AM/FM radio in hand what can I do to remedy this ear-splitting problem?
@zimdba: Stick with the iPhone. You want the real deal to emulate your training as much as possible.
I run with an iPhone in a "runner's pouch," which is really just a very small fanny pack. Maybe you can rig your bicep case around your waste with elastic or a belt?
@TheFu: The main item is two weeks at a Spanish language school. But the vacation time and relaxation will definitely be nice. No specific plans yet. My g/f and I fly by the seats of our pants kind of people.
This is a pretty specific question, but I'll give it a shot.
I'm flying Continental to Central America tomorrow. On their site it says the first checked bag from U.S. to Central America is free.
The problem is that I'm connecting first going from DFW Houston Costa Rica.
Will I be charged for a checked bag? I'm having problem finding the info and not wanting to do the suggested 20 minute wait to talk to a Continental rep.
Amen!
I appreciate you wasting my time with a long diatribe about good German beer and a drunken mistake, but I'd much rather learn the detail people really care about: How Gizmodo got it and what happened in that weeks-long void.
@nycrite: My cat thoroughly enjoys Jolly Rancher wrappers. And that's about it. (Proof: [twitpic.com])
My mother's cat likes cleaning up eaten corn on the cob.
