Windows Phone 7 (Mango) voice command can launch apps by default (no need to pay) and can read out text msgs and you can also reply by saying 'reply/cancel/i'm done/call' all without touching the phone. The phone will read the text (reply) once you're done dictating. Surprised the writer didn't know / or atleast acknowledge that. Oh perhaps because it's not endorsed by the The Cuptertino or Mountain View fanbois.

Yes, wp7 won't tell any kid to stfu. Yes I know it's not natural but sometimes the simple tasks is what matters the most i.e. open / start app, find coffee, call Jane on spk phone, text Jane Doe, turn on call forwarding, etc.

Some prefer natural speaking voice commands (of which i consider gimmicks at times) and some pple just prefer command driving voice commands. I prefer the latter considering I know what I'm asking my device to do as oppose to my device giving me random genius answers.

Just say "chocolate" or "running waters" :P
I have one of those wireless IP Camera and it works great. Only thing is the the email part stopped working. Only e-mail out that w/o https was aim/aol and that stopped working about 1 month ago.
How can I win the Mega Million? Do you have automagic powers to tell me the next winning numbers? I promise I'll share 50/50 with you :-)
Either that or Kevin somehow uses wp7 while double dipping Android on the side.
I have both TMobile (personal) and ATT (work) and both drop calls like nobody's business right in my house, work, other places. Just last nite I called to inquire about Tmob's $10 - 200MB data plan and few hours later, I started getting calls from their survey line -- twice today already. I wished they'll stop stalking me because I didn't buy anything...just an inquiry..
@aja175: ask giddy Steve Jobs ...just kiddin :-)
@EnzoFX: Sure,we get it El Jobso has u by the ball sack.
@BiznessTime: Yea? how about that Aero shake El Jobso invented? :-) or drag to snap? :-)
You might as well create another shortcut with tasklist command to list all the processes. This can be useful if taskbar deadlocks.
@CreepinJesus: u didn't know? if google had their way, they'll ask Microsoft to push it on every Windows machine. Just like they push that Google Update crap on every software they offer u for free in x for your privacy. Do More Than Evil.
@BonnibelJuicy: lol u don't need it...just cuz u put up a disclaimer. Even better, there's an app for that in the Mac App Store :-) tsk...tsk..tsk
Definitely pro-fruit blog. I did not see anything like this for wp7 launch and press event. I don't even think I have seen a single blog post here for wp7. It's perfectly ok to be a follower :-)
@IBoris: step 3: figure step 2 first.
step 4: figure step 3 next.

Do I see a pattern here?
how about text msg? GV a viable option?
good that heat is included in my rent + I've control of it. OTH, I could unplug things when I leave for work in the am and plug them back in.
I'm confused on this google voice thing a bit. Yes I have been using GV since Gcentral days. Here're my few confusions:

* Free to make calls to US and Canada until end of year - is this for users outside the US or users also in the US?

* According to the gmail blog, this feature is only being rolled out to U.S users only? It seems like other countries are getting it too...

* So if someone calls u from say Poland, can u call back the # on the CID to get the person (in gmail)? This didn't work for me but not sure how it's suppose to work to begin with.
I've used that tool before. It's a hit and miss with new Ubuntu including ERD and other rescue tools. It's either memtest, ubuntu, ubcd works and the rest of the tools doesn't because the rest of the tools use other methods of bootloading.

I've edited that text file so many times and gave up.

What I'll like is a tool that will let me CONSOLIDATE all my Dell Diag CDs into a single USB.
The Onkyo S7200 is a nice deal considering I bought my S7100 for $600 and the S7200 is a newer version of mine.
@skmcavoy: Thanks to everyone who responded. I'll try the enhancement thing. I'm using Win 7 Pro and all my drivers are up to date from Lenovo. - T60p.
