Psh! I beat that in a Chevy Silverado.

(coasting down Pikes Peak)
@Dawgvet06: That wasn't a flameout, he miscalculated the airfield altitude during a Split S, and punched out less than a second before the plane augered in. Flying a desk at the Pentagon now.
@Scoutch_has.a.job!: I grew up thinking it was nearby Annandale, VA they were singing about. Stupid multiple Annandales.
@ttyymmnn: Jeb covered it, I'll elaborate a bit more while I'm waiting for dinner to cook.

In 2009, the Thunderbirds transitioned from their 1980s vintage Block 32 F-16s (which they had been flying since 1992) to the newer Block 52.

(Prior to 1992, they flew the Block 15 F-16A/B, which is also the airframe the ADF was based on.)

The Block 52s came from the 389th Fighter Squadron at Mountain Home AFB, ID, which had originally received them fresh off the assembly line in the '94-'95 time frame.

Shortly before the 389th's conversion to the F-15E in 2005-2007 (and subsequent departure of the F-16s to Nellis AFB and to the South Carolina Air National Guard), the aircraft had all gone through a comprehensive phased upgrade and modernization program called CCIP (Common Configuration Implementation Program).

One of the modifications done was fitting an AIFF (Advanced Identification Friend or Foe) system, a component of which is the addition of four antenna elements in front of the canopy, similar to what the F-16 ADF had.

Anyway, that's probably more info than anyone ever wanted :)
@eaglescout1984: No differentiation really, the entire loop is completely filled with horrible VA and MD drivers, plus extra bonus horrible drivers from all over the east coast on the stretch between Beltsville and Springfield.
Dang, guess nobody listens to Steely Dan anymore.
California, tumbles into the sea.
@Jeb_Hoge: Indeed sir, they are AIFF antennas (aka "bird slicers") which were installed during the CCIP upgrade program in the 2005-2006 timeframe, which included other upgrades like color MFDs and JHMCS.

The ADF jets were all very old F-16A/B Block 15 aircraft, these are much newer aircraft from the 389th FS (T-bolts rule!), which has since transitioned to the F-15E (*spit*).
@Jeb_Hoge: It's a Block 52 with the CCIP updates; this is 91-0413, used to work them at Mountain Home.
@subsurface1: Cool. Throw me a wave if you see me driving by.

The Buick is generally parked on the west side in that little parking lot in front of your garage entrance. It's not there every day but I do see it fairly often.
@87CapriceEstate: S is Shoshone County, southeast of Coeur d'Alene over to the Montana border, and 2C is Canyon County, west of Boise and over to the Oregon border (mostly the city of Caldwell)
@subsurface1: Wow, good eye. Yep, west end. Have you seen that blue/woodgrain Roadmaster wagon with Impala SS wheels at the CSC building? I want it.
67-68 Chevy C10 with that swept back leading edge is another favorite.
@snap_understeer_ftw: Yes. I was just looking for a good pic of the 1000TC.
Hat tip to the daily driver of course.
@Mr. Scroggs: Excellent choice as always.
Not too big, not too small, just right.
