It can get even more insane than that out here in CA. Some of these HOA's rules should be illegal.

We were going to do this with our '66 C10 Panel truck. It would be a driver/show-car, so we would have the ability to change the paint every year if we wanted, without having to worry about stuff that usually comes with using paint.

]]> <![CDATA[suzq044 commented on What's The Worst Way You've Lost A Car?]]> I wanted to add - My neon was totaled [obviously], as was his truck, because either he bought his "long-travel bumper/guard" on ebay, or he still had the stock bumper with a high-nose. Either way, busted up his front suspension pretty bad, broken axle to say the least, either way the damage was more than the truck was worth at the time.

It's funny, there was an old Benz sitting at the light waiting to turn right at the intersection to the left of me. I didn't hit anything when I 360'd, (thank god, because school had just let out, and kids don't always walk on the crosswalk around there).. yet this guy claimed to have got hit by me. He had a peculiar dent on the front of his fender, I noticed it before the light turned green for me to go. He tried to press charges, and dropped them within a week. Go figure.

Only other damage was to my right shoulder, still hasn't healed up right.. don't think it ever will. I wasn't hospitalized or anything, just got safety-glass in my mouth, which didn't cut up anything, and my passenger mirror was thrown into the back seat by the spinning & b-pillar being 'moved out of the way' by the truck. I miss that car a lot. Still wish I had him. [he was named for not having much paint left on the roof by the way]

T-boned by a lifted wanna-be-baja Tacoma near a highschool, apparently the kid didn't want to slow down for the yellow light, plowed right into my b-pillar. Little car could still drive, and was straight, except for the 2-foot dent in the b-pillar. He saved my life, and baldie will never be forgotten.
