I would have to disagree. The car you've posted above - is one of those cars with a case of the "angles" - if you look @ it from the front, it's not so pretty.. lol

The first thing I would do to one of these if I were to ever buy a Ford, is to black out those horrid looking vertical-ish bars in the grille. Those ruin the front end for me.

@Jagvar: that's an optional grille and the wheels are optional too. Both in production.

As far as euro v. us driving. Here's the main difference: In europe, people use cars as point a to point b machines. In the US, we practically live in them. I'm typing from my laptop in my car right now, in fact.
As far as cupholders go, the only reason I need one is if i'm not using a bottle (like gatorade/water, etc), and then, more than 1, with a passenger in the vehicle. I drive a stick-shift and I feel the way Alan505 does. I cannot drive and do anything else while driving. I am totally focused on driving while I am doing so. I won't even look @ the phone, let alone try and dial or text. The closest I can say I do to multitasking, is using my Droid for navigational purposes (because that's one of my weak-points, usually because I'm paying more attention to traffic than to where I'm supposed to turn). I'm not saying I'm an awesome driver; far from it. I wish I had skills, aside from being one of the few women that still drives a stick-shift, and uses her blinker (sometimes too often - like occasionally the road takes a sharp turn, and I subconsciously hit the signal) LOL
Anywho, blathering. If we keep making it easier for the idiots to survive, there will be no further evolution, because we're spending wayy too much money trying to keep the idiots safe. DARWIN ftw. That is all. lol
