@nileppezdel77: here in lafayette, louisiana almost all the lights are on sensors and not timed making risky driving a crap shoot with the odds against you, but people still do it for some reason. but, the lights in downtown new iberia are timed, so i do understand the part about shaving seconds. but, in new iberia, you stop at one light then mantain the speed limit and you hit all of them green.
@nileppezdel77: i like to point and laugh at those risk taking swervers at the red light that they've been sitting and waiting at after passing me with some risky dangerous pass. i never get the point. risk your life, and you haven't gained a single advantage of time.
i'm watching the replay of last summer's btcc on speed. you guys are probably gonna give me alot of crap for saying this, but matt neal is uk's version of dale earnhardt(no, i did not say jr.). leaving out the difference in tracks, and just comparing by driving style and agressiveness they are alot alike.
@IFTNFS: i'm still hoping that they get better. it's only the first season, and there is lots of room for inprovement. i just hope they listen to the right people on how to improve.
how bout go the route of jacques villeneuve and come up through indy car? there is no shame in that. a senna in indy car may help revive that series, because god knows they need something. who knows? he could become the next emerson fittipaldi here in the states.
why is he just known as NASCAR driver robbie gordon? should be NASCAR/indy car/stadium offroad/desert offroad/whatever other series i'm missing/of anything with 4 wheels and a motor driver.
yet another bad choice by nascar to regain a waning fanbase. i'll be damned if they actually listen to the fans that they've lost who are fans of racing and not wrecks. who are fans of car battles and not drivers battles. no, lets listen to a board of directors who have no idea what the people who actually buy the tickets want.
@stephdumas: we got plenty of sugarcane here in south louisiana. although, i'd hate the sugar harvest to get even smokier than it was this year....cough cough.
ok, just finished watching top gear u.s.a. adam, i like. tanner is slowly growing on me, and rutledge wood has just got to go. i don't like him. i got 2 ideas if they can't afford adam corolla. titus, or that guy that did 101 cars you must drive. 2 of them are comedians/gearheads, and the guy that did 101 cars you must drive i thought was really funny. i'm not sure if he's a car guy, but he was very witty and seemed to have done his homework when doing that show.
