<![CDATA[Comments from the good dr zero]]> <![CDATA[Comments from the good dr zero]]> <![CDATA[the good dr zero commented on Escape From Berkeley, By Any Non-Petroleum Means Necessary!]]> Somehow, the bikes and the diesel cars don't seem to be in the right creative engineering spirit. Where's the fun in using something that everyone knows works?

Backyard gasifiers and steam cars mayn't be the future, but they're a lot more interesting than diesel.

<![CDATA[the good dr zero commented on 2009 Honda Civic Sedan Brochure Gives Away Scantastic Changes]]> @UDMan: I personally prefer hatches, but then again I didn't grow up in America, so they don't have the negative implications to me.

Full disclosure: my last car was a Civic hatch.

<![CDATA[the good dr zero commented on 2009 Honda Civic Sedan Brochure Gives Away Scantastic Changes]]> @Cruising Interstate 76: As far as I know, the Euro Civic hatch is based off a completely different platform (an upsized Jazz/Fit) to the sedan, which is probably there isn't really a Civic hatch outside Europe.

(Excluding the Australian Type-R, which is imported from England).

<![CDATA[the good dr zero commented on 2010 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon Shows Off Hot Rear End Ahead Of Pebble Beach Reveal]]> As plenty of others have said, those D pillars are somewhat wide. There are some elements of the design that I like, but in these pictures the width of the D pillars seem to shorten the design so that it looks a little A3-ish, especially in the front 3/4 view. I do like the tail lights though, from the thumbs I thought that they were merely SAAB inspired, but instead they fit in with the rest of the design.

<![CDATA[the good dr zero commented on In Case You Were Wondering...]]> @LandofMinos and the exploits of Officer Hatstrap: That's not very impressive fog, you can still see Luna Park behind the ferry. If you had been in Bergen this weekend though...

@Wes Siler: Anyway, good to see the editors giving it back to the doubters - looking accusingly at Al and TexanIdiot. Just don't do anything that might have us looking at the insides of your arm again.

Umm... cars. That Imperial is very pretty. I wish that cars could be pretty and/or delicate again.

<![CDATA[the good dr zero commented on Mitsubishi Evo Flips At X-Games Rally]]> Anyone see Finland last weekend. Plenty of yumps, and expensive crashes. More spectacular than this footage, although I'm guessing a bit harder to get hold of over there. Rally drivers aren't afraid to abuse their cars, Latvala destroyed his car when he hit a rock, broke some suspension parts, then decided to go flat out over a yump anyway. Which subsequently broke his steering, making him roll it.

<![CDATA[the good dr zero commented on Commenter Of The Day: OREONADEOL! Edition]]> @Mad_Science: Don't feel too bad about the ball in the face - once when I was fielding, I wore a cricket ball in the face, which resulted in a bruised eyeball and a broken nose, and this happened the weekend before the start of school in Year 12. Good memories!
