Finally! A study proving how disgusting the sand is on beaches. Full of tanning oil and cigarette butts. Plus all the garbage that was diluted in the water is concentrated in the sand. Sand is used in filtration to remove toxins and waste! Sand is also not always wet, so any contaminants left there are just concentrated right under the surface!

You forgot to mention the grime and lint that collects at the edges of the case. One tiny abrasive grain of anything in there and you're just scratching an area every time you grip the case.
I tried a silicone case for my old BB storm, and found that it basically kept my pockets lint free, but also collected all that lint at the speaker, mic and camera ports. Gross!

These are like the GGS brand of camera LCD protectors. Though those are a short distance away from the LCD which would render touchscreen function moot. Nevertheless, they're amazing for my S90, 40D and 7D.
