@ca.Brian: Cogito Ergo ZOOM!: Bulletproof, yes. Buildable, yes. But from the factory, it was slow. The GT upgrade was nothing more than cosmetic on that model. At least on the model we had back in '66. However, I do recall Dad trying to do a tune up, getting the firing order wrong, and still being able to drive it.
@$kaycog: The only thing I could find was a "Camper Special" version that Ford had, starting in the 50's I think, and running up to the late 70's, but the badges look nothing like that one.
