Caprice was introduced in the mid-60s as the superultralevel Impala so this makes me nod in understanding, since the G8 is what we all wish the Impala could be, go with Caprice in the nature of its origins!

I find this to be the most upsetting of the changes. Pontiac itself dying is wackness, but to not even capitalize on the success of a fantastic, desirable (I'm sure the sales, if you eliminate fleet from both, favor G8), easily perfected model is asinine!
I should obviously let this go, but I'm still pissed thye announced the death of the G8 at all... the next gen is already on the roads in Aussieland... no dev needed on our shores, just the small (in comparison to actually home brewing) investment like the current gen...
