It's light colored so every time the car goes under a streetlight it brightens and fades. Very distracting; poor design.
I had an amusing moment at the toy store when I noticed that lots of the Hot Wheels cars had Dodge Viper wheels, which have a very specific style, while none of the Viper Hot Wheels cars had the proper wheels. Hot Wheels wheel choices seem to be badly randomized.
