Mike, there's a really interesting interview with Gerry Meyers of AMC in the new Collectible Automobile magazine.
Leave a message for Mike the Dog are you in truck, or warehouse?
@Mike the Dog: como?
From the Turbo-Offy post, you replied to me, and I never saw it. That photo's of the engine bay of a Buick Regal Turbo, early '80s. That's what I meant by "beautiful".
Wow, where'd all the comment boxes go? This is the only one I can find...
My god, that thing is gorgeous! I think I almost soiled myself. Much nicer than mine.
My vote, clean up the interior, get some nice wide dog-dish steelies (better yet, the 18" replica dog dish steelies!) and leave the exterior exactly the way it is.
You're lucky in that you have the automatic. The bits and pieces should mate up nicely with almost anything. Throw a TorqFlite or something in there, build up an old 304, upgrade the springs and call 'er done.
Mine is a '64 Classic 770. What to do with it? Is yours an automatic or a manual? (Or both, like mine?)
I remembered the name of the AMC electric car wrong - it's Armitron, not Actron. Here's a link:

Hey brother, everyone knows POLAЯ doesn't take things too seriously!
Congrats MTD on the COTD! I was only BS-ing you about the backhanded compliment thing.
Well played, sir, well played.
@Mike the Dog: I've only found Bell's in a couple establishments around here; no package stores. My brother's ex was from Kalamazoo (and he's now a firefighter in Grand Rapids), so that's how I first found it. I usually have him bring a pony keg down when he visits.
I haven't actually had an Oberon from this year's batch yet, but I assume you're referring to draft, not bottle, right? I did have a two-hearted last night, though. Only a couple places down here in STL where the stuff can be found..
