The Chevy was a $510 gold digger and the car was no longer needed. I had just got some financial assistance cosmetically restoring the Voyager since 15 years of New York did it no good. I had money to keep the Voyager on the road and the $375 I got for the Chevy from the Demolition Derby people helped. We were going to Cash for Clunker it, but they would not let you buy a used vehicle. By now you probably want to wring my neck so here is an analogy that I hope will calm you. It was like an apple that looked good, but as soon as you bit it you found out it was full of worms and somewhat rotten. Craigslist, several online forums, and 24 Hours of Lemons got me no offers. The bad gas mileage made me feel bad and it once cost $84 to fill it up. Then again, if the car was properly maintained it probably would have been getting better than 14-15 MPG. It was white with wood paneling and almost not options, which I am told is rare. The Voyager is nice to have and it since it has been in the family for almost 15 years it is chock full of memories and love from me. The Voyager is more reliable and safer.
Actually they were put out of business by these guys:
