I'm employed by Sikorsky and I'm really, really, REALLY CURIOUS as to how the hell they were able to "muffle" the sounds of the main and tail rotors, so much so that I can't help but wonder if it's true. There's also no mention of the turbine engines and the gearbox, which together are louder than the rotors are from a close distance.
It kills me to know I used to be high school friends with a subsequent college dropout who married into inherited wall street wealth and will probably upgrade her fleet to include one of these as soon as she's done finishing her dog's bathroom.
My 2nd generation touch immediately began suffering from extremely piss battery life with ios4 as well. I only recently figured out that turning off all push notifications helps greatly. The thing is almost 4 years old now but turning off push has brought battery life back a lot closer to what it used to be.
I own the aforementioned Audio Technica ATH-M50's.
I haven't had the opportunity to audition many different makes & models of headphones, but I'm fully seasoned in home theater and for a $150 pair of cans they have exceeded my expectations by far and are a joy to immerse yourself with.
Before them, I owned the $300 pair of Beats. I bought them in a pinch for a last minute trip to a relative's house thinking for the price they had to be at least halfway decent and I was immediately and completely unimpressed. Thank goodness for credit cards and $0 restocking fees.
I bought my father a Bon-Aire. It is very nice, indeed. If you've ever had to buy yourself a replacement 'gun' style nozzle you should really get yourself one of these. Its large nozzle is shrouded in a nice soft rubber which makes it easy to grip when wet (PAUSE THAT) and comfortable for use by people with weakness in their hands.
It's probably Valve's fault. My guess is that due to the release of Portal 2 & having to log into steam from your PS3 before being able to redeem the code for the free PC copy that the PSN servers choked on a sudden influx of 40,000,000 logins and system updates from otherwise dormant PS3's.
I was about to applaud them for maintaining the heavy styling, and muse about how it would force many drivers to relearn how to approach certain parking lot entrances and judge forward distance more carefully...
but then I remembered it was just another concept. Hopefully that rear valance is one of the things that gets noticably muted in the final version.
Never took any of mine to the dump to get put on the scale... I was only referencing what was printed on the door jamb. I miss my 330hp coupe every day, and all the cool sounds it made...
