@Mike Austin: Er, nevermind, we've already reported on this. There is a 210-hp 1.6-liter turbo coming for the Veloster. I'm guessing we'll get it in the US eventually. [blog.caranddriver.com]
Thanks everbody! It's been fun! I'll be back whenever Ray decides to share some of that awesome Top Gear ad revenue to non-paid guests.
@Van Sarockin, rogue trebuchet: No, we'll make sure to only print the stories where we say every single car is horrible flawed and could only have been made by idiots who, frankly must have never even driven on a track or they'd know how to make a real vehicle. Also, hilarious pictures of internet memes.
@Party-vi: Sam does know Judo. He might even be a black belt. Time to set up a contest!
@GV_Goat: That makes me very sad. How do they package them now?

To a point, yes, hemming and hawing over a few tenths of 0-60 times is academic. You probably can't tell the difference without some kind of measuring device, and yes it get pretty abusive. Plus if you get a launch wrong you can lose about half a second. So yes, 1/4-mile tells us a little more about performance, but both are only pieces of the overall picture.
@Shamoononon: Turn around, it's just the sun.
@Sterling Archer: Seriously, I love the cars in your show. Somebody there knows what they're doing.
@Sterling Archer: @Shamoononon: Do you want ants? Because this is how we get them!
@HammerheadFistpunch: We're still doing StM! Check our facebook page.

Our staff is pretty much the same, we're just making sure the fun we have translates all the way to the page. Former editor Don Sherman has returned as Technical Editor. And you'll see PJ again soon.
@ChiefPontiaxe: Whenever my time machine shows up.
@SynthOno: Wow, incredible, awesome, and not actually representative of most of the fine citizens of Winnipeg.
@porsche9146: Sadly I haven't played much of either, but we have both on the rig in the garage.
@Baby Benz is a good DD: Someone must have upped John's medication. Or stopped it. One or the other.

We're working on more off-the-wall stuff, but I'll pass on your demands to my superiors.
@snap_understeer_ftw: Miata or old E30. Affordable, affordable parts, and a ton of fun without getting to death-defying speeds.

1st mod: tires (if they're not already on the car) or a short-shift kit.
@Roberto G.: I was kind of disappointed with that photo shoot. I thought I could have done twice as big.
@seanmcr6: I will say this one more time. I, and every other writer in our office, have nothing to do with the ad department. The whole conspiracy that people think exists simply doesn't. But then again that's what they want you to think.
@Thirsty Squirrel: power trunk and soft close doors. Shutting things is totally for poor people.
@smokyburnout: 1) Sam just left the press room. Do you want another story like that?
2) I have no idea. Spinelli has a cousin that could get you those for like two hundred bucks, max, he'll get you the number.
