Dorsal fin.
For the win.
They took away my E24? Motherfuckers.
@smalleyxb122: Yeah, I had the same search problem... I've noticed CL does that sometimes.

And YES, I am totally interested in that XJS.
@kenavt: The silver car is the Euro. The old post is a US car. All the dashboard and gauge lights work now... but I've just updated the ad to detail some of the other issues.

@Matt Hardigree: You can tell it's me from the shaky camerawork. I hate tripods.

Also. The driver chooses to remain anonymous.
This goes great with the new slogan for their trucks:

Chevy Trucks stay harder longer.
Right, because the shape isn't decided at all by aerodynamics.

Thanks for telling us about the technical specs of the car (that isn't a rocket) beyond that it's powered by a "modified Pro Stock engine".

Also, it's nice that we're making penis/ego jokes, while ignoring that the car is named after the guy's late son who died of cancer.

Also also, thanks for not telling us about the record that he broke, or the significance of it.

All that said- Nice headline, should get alot of clicks.
All these versions... and yet, what I really want is a GT3RS but with the ducktail spoiler from the Sport Classic, a Targa glass roof (counterproductive to the weight savings, I know)... and a nice dark brown coat of paint with some polished aluminum wheels.
You know, as jealous as I am that you got to ride with JPM, what makes me really jealous is that they had the full track with the banking open.

I've only been around with the banking closed off, a chicane after that long right-hander in the back, and no front-straight... and with an engineer that set a record at some track in Germany or something.

Fine, I guess I don't have anything to complain about.
@Ben Wojdyla: So was staph infection really all that bad?
Yamaha OX99-11 anyone?
Of the continental (I've never been to Alaska or Hawaii), I'm only missing Washington, Oregon, Idaho (came really close during a Yellowstone-Glacier roadtrip), Utah, and I think Kansas.

Wyoming is by far the most boring state. In any regard.
As someone who has seen this in person, I can confirm how terrible it really is. I actually had no idea it was supposed to be a batmobile- didn't see the symbol on the roof.

that said, it's no wonder my E30 just sold in a day on craigslist for $500 next to this pile for $600.
@black_peter: I feel physically uncomfortable just looking at that photo. In person, it'd likely give me a serious case of the 'heebie jeebies'.
Picture #6 doesn't look at all like a Jeepney... there's not a single person sitting on the roof.
You know how all toddlers have that one disney movie they have to watch over and over again every day? My treasured VHS tapes were recordings of the original Herbie the Love Bug movies. Needless to say- I was obsessed with old VWs. I only briefly owned a '65 Beetle when I was 19, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the bug bites again.
26-ft U-Haul w/ a tow dolly dragging a E23 7er. 1,900-mile trip. Good times.
